Update from Burundi

Here in Every Nation Church Burundi, God is multiplying us. He is bringing different young people from our city Bujumbura. The majority of these young people are coming as a result of the engaging process that is being done by our Every Nation laborers.

We baptized 7 people on Christmas day. From that time, we embarked on a journey of discipling these 7 dear ones. We meet once a week for one 2 one discipleship meetings.

We have many people who are going hungry and homeless. Like today we decided to feed our leadership team one meal and we shared together. There are those who are homeless. Some are sheltered and taken care of by the church in the compound of the church. But others are in the community where we have rented for them. These are very small houses without cement that we do not pay much for to see if they can have a place to lay their heads. Like Mary, a young university student, who cannot afford to be at school because she cannot even help herself out for everyday living because she is an orphan. We are renting a house for her. My wife and I were also harvesting corn in a small land that we cultivated 3 months ago. My wife and Pacifique, the husband of Floride, went ahead and harvested. We then distributed to church members.

Every Monday from 7h00 till 8h30 we meet as our EN Burundi leadership team to strategize how the week will be and gather the reports on how the starting week should go. We were also harvesting corn in a small land that we cultivated 3 months ago. My wife and Pacifique, the husband of Floride, went ahead and harvested. We then distributed to church members.

January is the starting month of all universities here in Burundi. So the campus outreach team has been working hard to establish connect groups in campuses and colleges. It is a slow movement but very promising!

Please pray for faithful leaders as we have lots of work to do to engage our community and our campuses while establishing connect groups.

Please pray for provision as we need to be socially responsible and support many people in need and hungry

Please pray for favour as we are applying for permission to work well in campuses. There are 10 campuses. We have so far one permission from one university. We are yet to get permission from 9 universities

Please pray that we will get booklets for one 2 one in our language, kirundi,

Please pray for good health to all of us
