Update from Canada
Hi Dear friends and family
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support, we appreciate you so much. Our family is truly grateful for all Jesus has done and continues to do for us. This year has been a difficult year for us church planters with all the Covid virus restrictions. Winnipeg has been placed under full lockdown for the second time as the case numbers rise in Canada. Through this time we have seen our Father encourage us, protect us, sustain us and comfort us when we were down. We missed our families so much more this year. Yet we are constantly reminded of his Faithfulness as we take comfort from Him.
As a new church plant with limited finances, we are grateful to have continued ministering through zoom and video call. The province has deemed Freedom House as essential services, and we were open throughout the pandemic, providing take away meals and emergency food packs to the community we minister to . With a small group of volunteers we have been able to find creative ways to minister the gospel. More than anything we felt a conviction to just be present in the lives of people God has entrusted us to pastor. FH has just been awarded a grant to operate a drop in centre just in time as we enter a harsh winter. Once again God is opening a door for us to minister to people in a safe environment.
As always we covet your prayers. Please pray for wisdom for us as we navigate through the pandemic. For protection for us and our volunteers as we will be exposed to more people. For peace for our hearts and provision as we patiently wait to visit family in SA.
